At Spokane Cremation, we are proud to offer $100 off all funeral and cremation packages for veterans.

 

Veterans who have been honorably discharged are eligible to receive a free flag and government headstone. ln addition, veterans who have served on active duty are eligible for free burial in the Washington State Veterans Cemetery located in Medical Lake, WA. Veterans who pass away at a Veterans Affairs Hospital or nursing home may be eligible for additional funeral cost assistance. 

 

Veterans Burial Allowances
 

Veterans who pass away as a result of a service connected injury or disability may qualify for up to $2000 in reimbursements for funeral or cremation services.

 

Veterans who are hospitalized at a VA facility at their time of death can apply for up to $700 in reimbursements for funeral or cremation services.

 

Other eligible veterans can apply for a $300 reimbursement for funeral or cremation services.

 

Washington State Veterans Cemetery, provides a dignified final resting place for eligible veterans. A burial plot, grave marker, and outer burial container are provided free. These same benefits are also available to spouses and dependent children for only $300. Spokane Cremation can help with cemetery paperwork, or families can go directly to the cemetery at:
